Arrangements for the launch of NMBA Campaign reviewed at Kupwara

Kupwara: A meeting of concerned officers was on Wednesday held to review the arrangements for Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan campaign which is set to be launched on April 7th in the district.
The campaign aims to raise awareness and take proactive measures to combat drug abuse, especially among youth.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, M Rouf Rehman, who chaired the meeting emphasized the importance of a coordinated approach involving all stakeholders, including Health, Education, Police, and social welfare departments, as well as NGOs and civil society.
He directed the concerned officers to ensure the effective implementation of the campaign through awareness drives, community outreach programs, and counseling sessions.
On the occasion, Nodal Officer for NMBA Campaign, Mudassir Ahmad also spoke and provided information about the implementation of the campaign to the participants.
The meeting was attended by officers from Education, Health, ICDS, Revenue department and other concerned.
