Srinagar : Police in Shopian, under the supervision of SSP Shopian Anayat Ali Chowdhary, conducted an awareness programme at Govt. Higher Secondary School Keegam on new criminal laws viz Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
The programme was chaired by IC PP Keegam, attended by teaching staff and students of the school. The initiative amid to educated students and staff on the new laws’ implications, emphasizing legal compliance and societal order. The session included interactive discussions, highlighting justice for victims and the modernization of investigations through technology.
