Srinagar: Senior IAS officer Sushma Chauhan has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
A 2009-batch officer from the J&K-AGMUT cadre, Chauhan has held several key administrative positions in Jammu and Kashmir, including serving as Deputy Commissioner of Jammu. Prior to this elevation, she was posted as a Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
