SWD hosts multifarious activities in Kishtwar to promote anti-drug campaign

Kishtwar : The District Social Welfare Department organized a series of engaging activities under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) and National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) here across the .
The activities were conducted at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Sarthal; GHSS Nagseni; GHSS Palmar and Adarsh Niketan HSS.
The events aimed to promote general awareness among students regarding ill effects of drugs on the life of students, youth and on the whole of the society.
The events included a variety of competitions and cultural activities, which saw enthusiastic participation from the students. The activities included General Awareness regarding drug abuse, Pledge on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, drawing competitions to encourage artistic expression and creativity, besides Essay Writings competitions and Quiz competitions on drug abuse.
The events were conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan and supervision of DSWO Zubair Ahmed.
