Bandipora : In order to expedite relief distribution, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl, on Thursday chaired a meeting of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Committee in his office chamber.
The meeting aimed to assess pending cases and ensure timely assistance to the deserving beneficiaries, was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani, Executive Engineer R&B Sumbal, Mushtaq Ahmad, Assistant Executive Engineer R&B Bandipora, along with representatives from other departments.
A total of 14 cases were presented before the committee for deliberation out of which 09 cases were approved for payment, while the remaining were deemed ineligible under the Disaster Response Fund guidelines.
The committee reiterated the necessity of adhering to documentation requirements to facilitate a smooth and transparent disbursement process.
ADC Bandipora, underscored the importance of swift and efficient relief distribution to provide timely support to affected individuals. He directed the concerned departments to streamline procedures and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive their due assistance without delays.
