SSP Traffic was requested to implement proper traffic management strategies to prevent congestion, while the Police and Forest Department will work in coordination to curb unauthorized commercial activities at Zero Point.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed on the importance of strict enforcement of these measures to maintain ecological balance and ensure smooth traffic movement along the pass.
The meeting was attended by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir, CEO Sonamarg Development Authority, ACR Ganderbal, SDM Kangan, DFO Sindh Forest Division, DFO Wildlife, Officer Commanding Beacon, and other officials.
