Srinagar : Police in Pulwama, in collaboration with KCEF Law College Pulwama on Wednesday held a practical and legal training session on new criminal laws. The event aimed to enhance the legal knowledge and procedural skills of law enforcement officers in line with recent updates in criminal law.
The event was chaired by SSP Pulwama Smt. P. D. Nitya-IPS, accompanied by DySP Headquarters Pulwama, SDPO Litter, concerned SHOs, I/C PPs and other officers/officials of the district. Their active participation underscored the department’s commitment to maintaining a well-informed, legally adept police force. Faculty members and students from the college side, delivered comprehensive lectures on modern criminal laws and procedural updates and also enriched the session with insightful presentations.
The SSP Pulwama commended the college representatives and awarded certificates to the student speakers in appreciation of their contributions. This collaboration highlights the synergy between law enforcement and academia in promoting legal awareness and skill development among police personnel, ensuring that officers are well-prepared to navigate contemporary legal challenges.
