ADC Kulgam convenes meeting of political parties

Kulgam: Aditional Deputy Commissioner who is also the Electoral Registration Officer 40-Devsar on Tuesday chaired a meeting with representatives from various political parties at the mini-secretariat, here.
The meeting was attended by representatives from JKNC, BJP, CPIM, INC and other political parties.
The objective of the meeting was to underscore the importance of further strengthening the electoral processes adhering to the highest ethical standards outlined in the Model Code of Conduct.
The representatives of political parties were also apprised about the updation of current electoral roll, facilities at different polling stations, and suggestions were sought from different political parties regarding the strengthening of electoral process.
The similar meetings were also held by ACR Kulgam ERO 39-Kulgam and SDM Noorabad ERO-38 DH Pora.
The meeting was attended by AERO’s and other Officers of election department.
