Samba : District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajesh Sharma chaired a high-level review meeting on Sunday in the Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex to assess the progress of works taken up under the District Capex Budget across different sectors.
The meeting focused on the status of ongoing projects being executed by the Public Works Department (PWD) for crucial sectors like School Education, Health, and allied services.
Detailed discussions were held to identify and resolve challenges hindering project execution, with an emphasis on ensuring smooth and timely completion.
Reviewing the sector-wise progress, the DDC stressed the importance of adhering to project timelines and maintaining high implementation standards. He directed the concerned officers to proactively tackle obstacles and accelerate the execution process to deliver maximum developmental benefits to the public.
Highlighting the need for efficient resource management and interdepartmental coordination, the DDC urged all stakeholders to stay committed to providing quality infrastructure and public services within the stipulated timeframe.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Champa Devi, Chief Planning Officer Kasturi Lal, Assistant Commissioner Development, CEO, CMO, Executive Engineers, BDOs and other senior officers.
