Div Com Jammu discusses arrangements for SANJY-2025

Jammu : Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar on Wednesday chaired a high level meeting to discuss arrangements for Amarnathji Yatra 2025.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner JMC, Deputy Commissioners of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur Reasi and Ramban discussed the arrangements to be made in their respective districts.
The Divisional Commissioner sought the details of lodgement centres and sanitation facilities to be made available in the districts of the Jammu Division from where the annual Yatra passes.
He asked the concerned district Administrations to furnish the details of existing lodgement centres, toilet facilities and requirements for the construction of additional facilities.
The meeting was apprised about the arrangements made last year and the scope of adding new facilities for smooth conduct of SANJY 2025.
The Deputy Commissioners were directed to gear up for the repair and restoration work of the existing facilities and new constructions to augment the facilities.
The Divisional Commissioner also directed the Deputy Commissioners to put in place robust arrangements for the festival of Holi in their respective districts.
