Jammu : The three-day Career Progression Workshop organized by the International Centre for Cross-Cultural Research and Human Resource for MBA (International Business) students from March 10-12, 2020 concluded today. The workshop was led by Mr. Manjot K. S. Gill, CEO of Mind One Consultants, who brings extensive experience in training professionals across national and multinational organizations.
According to a statement issued from public relations office University of Jammu here, the workshop covered key aspects of career development, including resume building, video introductions for personal branding, effective participation in group discussions, mock interviews, and extempore speaking to enhance quick thinking and articulation. It also focused on personal interview preparation, understanding interview panel expectations, and leveraging LinkedIn to connect with potential employers and expand professional networks.
In her concluding address, Prof Hardeep Chahal, Director, ICccR & HRM, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in enhancing self-growth and preparing students for market opportunities. She highlighted that recruitment training plays a crucial role in securing placements and internships.
In the valedictory session participants were awarded certificates. The event was coordinated by Dr. Neha Gupta, along with faculty members of the department.
