G’bal : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit of Ganderbal held a meeting today at Chek Watalbagh, attended by BJP District President Ghulam Hassan Rather, Constituency pesident Ganderbal Syed Asgar Ali and constituency president Ganderbal Junaid Ahmed Khatana and other party members.
The meeting aimed to address grassroots public concerns and strengthen the party’s presence in the district. During the event, a significant number of new members joined the BJP, signaling growing support for the party in the region.
Talking to reporters the BJP District President Ghulam Hassan Rather criticized the National Conference (NC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stating that if these parties had genuinely worked for the welfare of the people, they would not be witnessing such a shift towards the BJP. He urged the public to join the party, assuring them that their issues would be addressed effectively. “We are committed to living up to the expectations of the people and will work tirelessly for their benefit,” Rather said, encouraging locals to voice their concerns so that the party can take necessary action.
