Rajouri: Registrar Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Abhishek Sharma, conducted an inspection of various administrative offices to assess their functioning and improve efficiency.
During the visit, he issued key directives, including periodic checks of employees’ service records, prioritisingdigitisation of files, and securing important documents in a CCTV-monitored room. The Registrar also instructed officials to expedite salary disbursement for contractual employees.
In line with the university’s move towards paperless administration, he directed the immediate adoption of the e-office system, with an implementation meeting to follow.
The Examination Section was tasked with ensuring that Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates are issued before convocation to facilitate smooth academic transitions.
The Registrar emphasised that these measures are crucial for enhancing transparency, administrative efficiency, and service delivery within the university.
