Power shutdown in Rajbagh Srinagar

Srinagar: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out augmentation of old 0.1 ACSR to 0.2 ACSR of Nehalpora-Markundal line, the shutdown of 33KV Nehalpora Markundal line shall be observed due to which Receiving Stations at Markundal, Naidkhai, Shahgund and Aglar shall remain off while power supply to the Naidkhai, Markundal, Sumbal, Ankhul, Gundboon and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 08 &10 March, 2025.
Similarly, to carry out Installation of newly procured panels and oil topping of power transformers, the shutdown of 33KV Cherpora Achabal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Cherpora, Uttersoo, Deethu and Chittergul shall remain off while power supply to Cherpora, Uttersoo, Deethu, Chittergul and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 10 March 2025.
Also, to carry out installation of newly procured panels and augmentation work by way of charging of 1×6.3 MVA Power Transformer, the shutdown of 33KV Ashajipora Dialgam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Dialgam shall remain off while power supply to the Dialgam, Shichen and Brinty areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 08 March, 2025.
