Rajouri : An introductory meeting regarding the constitution of Small Business Development Units (SBDUs), Business Help Desks (BHDs), and the selection of YUVA Doots under Mission YUVA was held on Wednesday at the Conference Hall, DC Office Rajouri.
The meeting was convened under the supervision of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri (District Nodal Officer – Mission YUVA) and witnessed participation from members of SBDUs and BHDs in both online and offline modes.
During the meeting, Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa emphasized the need for a well-coordinated approach to effectively implement the objectives of Mission YUVA. He outlined specific roles and responsibilities for each member and directed that YUVA Doots be identified after completing the selection process as per the YUVA Doot framework.
Sandeep Sharma, District Statistical & Evaluation Officer Rajouri, delivered a comprehensive presentation detailing the formation, roles, and responsibilities of SBDUs and BHDs. He highlighted their crucial role in supporting entrepreneurship, financial facilitation, and business development across the district. Meanwhile, Pradyot Gupta, Assistant Director Employment, Rajouri, presented the official orders regarding the constitution of SBDUs and BHDs and explained the conceptual framework for YUVA Doots.
A key agenda of the meeting was the selection of YUVA Doots, who will serve as grassroots-level facilitators, ensuring the effective outreach of Mission YUVA initiatives. Discussions were also held regarding the structural mechanism for allocating panchayats to YUVA Doots, ensuring streamlined execution of tasks.
The meeting concluded with directives for the timely selection of YUVA Doots and effective coordination between SBDUs, BHDs, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate employment and entrepreneurial opportunities under Mission YUVA.
The meeting was attended by Sanjeev Bhasin (LDM), Rafaqit Aziz Functional Manager DIC, Ashwani Kumar, District Agriculture Officer, Kashmire Singh, SDAO, Naveen Anand, Manager JK Bank, Chander, DDM NABARD, Arshad Malik, DNO-EDI, Kamran Hanief, District Manager NRLM, and Asim, Block Manager NRLM Rajouri.
Additionally, ADC Nowshera, Sunderbani, Kalakote, Koteranka, and SDM Thanamandi (Nodal Officers – BHDs), along with other members, participated in the meeting through virtual mode.
