DC Poonch inaugurates Virtual Kiosk/Mini Digital Studios in Aspirational Block Mankote

Poonch : In a landmark initiative aimed at integrating technology into education, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal inaugurated two Virtual Kiosk/Mini Digital Studios at Middle School Dharati and Middle School Nar Balnoi in the Aspirational Block of Mankote through virtual mode from the DC Office Poonch.
During the inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with school children through virtual mode, emphasizing the significance of the Virtual Kiosk/Mini Digital Studios in transforming the teaching-learning process. This initiative is designed to address the shortage of teaching staff and leverage digital technology to enhance educational delivery.
The Virtual Kiosks are equipped to operate in both offline and online modes, effectively mitigating internet connectivity challenges in remote areas. This technological intervention promises to provide uninterrupted learning opportunities for students, bridging the educational gap in the region.
The initiative has been made possible through collaboration with Jnana Prabodhini, Pune, Maharashtra, which generously donated the two kiosks. Two engineers from Jnana Prabodhini, who volunteered for this project, were present during the inauguration.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed gratitude to Jnana Prabodhini for their invaluable contribution to digital education and underscored the importance of such initiatives in revolutionizing the education sector.
