Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review the role and responsibilities of Small Business Development Unit (SBDU) and Business Help Desks (BHDs) constituted under Misson Yuva at District and Sub Divisional levels.
It was given out that for implementing the mission, a Small Business Development Unit (SBDU) has been created at District Level, while Business Help Desks (BHDs) have been created at Sub Divisional Level and Yuva Doots at Panchayat Level.
The meeting was informed that the mission is focused on four (04) sectors including creation of nano entrepreneurs and collectives, creation of entrepreneurs in the focus and sunrise sector, business acceleration of existing enterprises, and creation of neo-innovative enterprises.
Highlighting the roles and responsibilities of SBDU and BHDs, the DC emphasized the on ground implementation of the interventions under the mission yuva in the district.
He stressed on engaging and encouraging potential entrepreneurs identified through yuva survey to establish their enterprises.
He asked the members of SBDU, BHDs and Yuva Doots to ensure coordination and proper hand holding of entrepreneurs under Mission Yuva.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC Zaffar Husson Shawl; GM DIC, CPO, AD Employment, District Officers of various Departments, Representatives from NRLM, Banks and other concerned.
