Srinagar: Police have booked four hard-core drug traffickers under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act in Kulgam.
The accused have been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Khan and Naseer Ahmad Shan both residents of Kilam, Tariq Ahmad Rather of Yamrach, Yaripora and Ghulam Nabi Lone of Rambhama against whom Kulgam Police successfully executed PIT NDPS Act warrants issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, police said on Sunday
The accused have been lodged in Udhampur, Poonch, Kathua, and Rajouri District jails respectively.
This action against them was initiated following the submission of material records, dossiers, and connected documents by the Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam.
These decisive actions highlight the steadfast commitment of Kulgam Police to eradicating drug trafficking and abuse in the district.
