Kishtwar : A crucial meeting regarding the formation and implementation of Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) and Business Help Desks (BHDs) under Mission YUVA Project was held on Saturday here in the VC Room of the DC Office with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan in Chair.
The session commenced with a comprehensive presentation by AD Employment Mamta Sudershan. She elaborated the role, responsibilities, and organizational structure of the SBDUs and BHDs, focusing on their pivotal role in promoting entrepreneurship, financial facilitation, and business development across the district.
The DC emphasized the importance of seamless inter-departmental coordination to ensure the successful establishment and operation of these support units. He highlighted that the collective efforts of all stakeholders are essential for fostering Nano Enterprises and MSMEs, thereby driving economic growth and employment generation within the region.
The meeting also saw active participation from various stakeholders, each contributing their insights on how to strengthen the local business support ecosystem at the district, sub-division, and tehsil levels. The discussions underscored the need for collaboration in boosting self-employment opportunities and promoting entrepreneurial initiatives under Mission YUVA.
ADC Kishtwar, Pawan Kotwal, SDM Paddar Amit Kumar all SDMs via virtual mode, AD Employment/ALC Kishtwar Mamta Sudershan, CAO Kishtwar, Amjad Hussain Malik, LDM Kishtwar, and various other senior officials and staff were present on the occasion.
