Rajouri : In an effort to strengthen the relationship between Police and public, Range Police Headquarters Rajouri organised a Kabaddi Tournament at District Police Lines Rajouri witnessing participation of teams from across the District.
The tournament began on Feb 19, 2025 and concluded on Tuesday with the final match played between Jamola Kabaddi Club and Kotranka Kabaddi Club.
Jamola Kabaddi Club emerged victorious with a margin of 21 points.
After the culmination of the final match, DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Headquarters Rajouri Tejinder Singh, along with SSP Rajouri Gaurav Sikarwar commended the players for their dedication and perseverance. The DIG underscored the significance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit.
Dy.SP Hqrs Rajouri Satish Kumar; Dy.SP DAR Rajouri Akshay Khajuria and Dy.SP Staff Officer RPHQ Rajouri Pawan Sharma, besides other officials were also present.
The event concluded with the presentation of trophies/Medals and cash prize to the winner and runner up teams, besides words of appreciation to all participating teams and officials who contributed towards the success of the tournament.
