Srinagar– Dr. Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, the father-in-law of Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq, passed away on the night of Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
“His funeral prayers (Nimaz-e-Janaza) will be held at Jama Masjid Srinagar after Zuhr prayers, and he will be laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Khrew, Pampore,” said a statement from Mirwaiz Manzil .
The family will receive condolences (Taziyat) at his residence: House no 207, Sector B, Westend Colony Near Tengpora Bridge Hyderpora, Srinagar.
Masoodi, a doctor by profession, had left Kashmir in 1974 for further studies in the US and returned 28 years later.
