University of Jammu, J&K Bank host awareness session on “Financial & Energy Initiatives for Sustainability”

Poonch : Jammu and Kashmir Bank hosted a highly impactful awareness session at Dhanvantri Library, University of Jammu, focusing on key financial and energy initiatives that promise to drive both economic progress and environmental sustainability. The session covered vital topics such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, J&K Bank’s credit card schemes, term insurance plans, housing loans, personal loans, car loans, and term deposits, with a team of experts providing in-depth insights into each.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office University of Jammu here the interactive discussion effectively showcased the features and benefits of solar energy through the Muft Bijli Yojana, which provides subsidies for solar panel installations and financial support. Experts also delved into J&K Bank’s range of financial products, including credit cards, loans, and insurance, highlighting how these offerings enhance customer convenience, financial security, and overall well-being. This session proved to be particularly beneficial for the employees, equipping them with valuable insights on sustainable energy solutions and financial tools for better security and growth.
All the library professionals from Dhanvantri Library and other departmental libraries along with the office staff of Dhanvantri Library, gained valuable insights, empowering them to confidently navigate these initiatives and application processes. This made the session a resounding success in raising community awareness and fostering engagement.
