Kupwara: In strict adherence to directives promulgated by the Chief Education Officer Kupwara, the Zonal Education Officer Handwara, in synergy with an esteemed delegation from the CEO Office under the erudite stewardship District Education Planning Officer (DEPO) Kupwara, Mohammad Iqbal Shah, orchestrated a meticulously curated Environmental Building Programme under the aegis of the Inclusive Education Initiative enshrined within the overarching framework of SAMAGRA Shiksha.
The convocation unfolded within the precincts of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Handwara, convening an august assembly of stakeholders encompassing School Nodal Officers (SNOs) for UDISE, parents, Children with Special Needs (CWSN), special educators, the Zonal Nodal Officer (ZNO), and a cohort of resource persons. The solemnity of the occasion was further exalted by the presence of top functionaries notably DEPO, the President of Women Empowerment – Widows, Mohammad Shafi Mir, and the District Coordinator for Inclusive Education, Javid Wani.

DNO Inclusive Education Kupwara, Javid Wani, in an exhaustive exposition of the IED component, elucidated its variegated schemes and auxiliary modalities, exhorting the pedagogical fraternity to assimilate and champion the cause of CWSN students, galvanizing them toward the realization of their aspirations and fostering their self-reliance.
