MLA Yudhvir Sethi inaugurates Jammu & Kashmir’s 1st Sports Festival 2025 “Arm of Steel 3.0”

Jammu :  In a momentous step towards promoting fitness and wellness, BJP leader and MLA Jammu East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, today inaugurated Jammu & Kashmir’s first Sports Festival 2025 “Arm of Steel 3.0”. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over 200 athletes from various districts of the region.
The sports festival featured six exciting disciplines: Powerlifting, Aesthetic Physique, Arm Wrestling, Yoga, Calisthenics, and Strict Curl. Each event was a showcase of raw strength, determination, and passion, reflecting the growing fitness culture in the region. This pioneering initiative was conceptualized and organized by Sahil Anand, the founder of Gymkhana. Sahil’s vision is not only to provide athletes with a platform to showcase their skills but also to promote the message of a drug-free India. The festival is part of a broader campaign to inspire the youth to embrace fitness and lead healthier, more active lives.
The inauguration ceremony saw a strong show of support from prominent figures, including Mandal President Swati Sharma, Ex-Corporator Suneet Raina, Adv. Nidhi Magotra, Raman Sharma, Karan Sharma, and a large gathering of local supporters.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Yudhvir Sethi emphasized the importance of fitness, not only for building physical strength but also for fostering mental resilience. He remarked that a healthy mind and body are key to overcoming challenges in life, and sports play an essential role in shaping the future of the youth.  Sethi lauded the tireless efforts of Sahil Anand and his dedicated team in bringing the Arm of Steel 3.0 Sports Festival to Jammu & Kashmir, acknowledging that this event provides a unique platform for athletes to showcase their talents. He reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to empowering the youth of the region through such initiatives, which inspire them to pursue their passion for fitness and contribute positively to society.Sethi also shared his excitement over the event, praising the efforts to inspire young people to adopt fitness as part of their lifestyle. The MLA  further highlighted the significant role that sports can play in addressing pressing societal issues, such as drug abuse, and urged the youth to channel their energy into positive activities like sports to build a brighter future for themselves and the community. Sahil Anand said “Arm of Steel 3.0” is not just a sports competition; it’s a movement aimed at motivating the new generation to prioritize health, fitness, and well-being, marking a significant step in Jammu and Kashmir’s journey towards a healthier future.
