Jammu, Feb 20 (UNI) A constable in Jammu and Kashmir Police died on Thursday in a road accident in the Gadigarh area here.
Police in a statement issued here on Thursday said that the Selection Grade Constable (SgCt) identified as Manpreet Singh (30-32), resident of Basti Govindpura, Simbal Morh, died this morning when his motorbike was hit at Gadigarh by an e-bus coming from Ranbir Singh Pura. “He received fatal injuries and died on the spot,” said police, adding that the bus has been seized and the driver has also been taken into custody. Police, however, have registered a case.
