ADC Pulwama flaggs-off Children with Special Needs to exposure visit

Pulwama:The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pulwama ,Dr. S.M Ashraf flagged off Children with Special Needs (CWSN) on a district-level exposure visit and sports event to Dhara Shikoo Park, Bijbehara, Anantnag.
The visit is organized by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama which aims to promote inclusivity and celebrate the unique abilities of CWSN students.
63 CWSN students from all zones of the district, accompanied by Resource persons, Special Educators and the District Coordinator are participating in exposure visit & sports event.
CEO Pulwama, Shabir Ahmad Khan, and DEPO Manzoor Ahmad Khan, along with other officials were present.
CEO Pulwama emphasised the importance of safety, responsibility and assistance for all children during the tour. He highlighted the significance of exposure visits and sports events in the lives of CWSN students besides promoting physical well-being, discipline, social interactions and sportsmanship.
The event provides a platform for CWSN students to showcase their athletic abilities and fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants, teachers and students.
The students eagerly participated in a range of exciting sports activities, including tug of war, carrom, chess, cricket and other engaging games. The event aimed to promote inclusivity, encourage teamwork, and provide a platform for CWSN students to demonstrate their abilities.
The event concluded with the distribution of mementos and medals to all the participant student, amidst cheers and applause from the audience.
