Srinagar : Police on Friday said that it has attached a single-storied house along with a single-storied poultry farm and two kanals of land under Survey No. 529/1 in the estate of Rakhi Sultanpora Sumbal.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar police said that this action, taken under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) of 1967, is linked to Case FIR No. 307/2023 of Police Station Sopore, adding therein that the attachment was carried out in the presence of a duly constituted police team and the Executive Magistrate, ensuring strict compliance with all legal procedures.
Police in its statement further said that this step marks a crucial advancement in the investigation of unlawful and subversive activities in the region, highlighting Police’s dedication to countering threats to national security and promoting peace and stability.
