Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan on Wednesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the achievements made in the implementation of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.
Speaking at the meeting, the DC emphasised the need for adopting a time-bound approach to achieve the set targets efficiently.
He directed the concerned departments to focus on key indicators to ensure effective execution of the programme.
The DC stressed the expansion of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and instructed officials to process and submit all pending applications to the District Level Committee for approval in the next week.
Highlighting the importance of diversified farming practices, he urged the functionaries to promote Millet, Lavender, Marigold and Oil seed cultivation across the district to promote sustainable and climate-resilient Agriculture.
The review meeting was attended by CPO Shahnawaz Bali, ACR Idrees lone, ACD Phulail Singh, CAO Amjad Hussain Malik, CHO Sajid Mustafa, DSHO Dr. Jameel Nasir, LDM, DAO and other officials from agriculture and allied sectors.
