Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai on Saturday chaired a meeting to discuss the status of pending defence land acquisition cases in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Special Collector Defence , Defence Estate Officer, Tehsildar Udhampur Jai Singh and other concerned officials.
The DC held detailed deliberations on various land acquisition cases, identifying bottlenecks that have been hindering the acquisition process. She asked all stakeholders to work in coordination and adopt a proactive approach to resolve pending issues efficiently. The concerned departments were instructed to explore feasible solutions to facilitate land acquisition for defence purposes.
