DDC Shopian reviews ongoing dev works in the Distt

Shopian : To give impetus to the developmental works in district, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta on Thursday chaired a meeting with concerned at Mini-Secretariat to review progress of various projects & to ensure timely completion besides resolve any impeding issues.
At the outset, DDC took a comprehensive review of the current status of all developmental works undertaken by the R&B, JJM, PMGSY, & other departments.
On the occasion, he examined the progress of projects and the works falling under various schemes, including District Capex, NABARD and other government sponsored schemes.
The review encompassed a wide array of initiatives aimed at enhancing the district’s infrastructure and connectivity.
During the meeting, the DDC directed the officers to ensure timely completion of all the projects undertaken by their respective departments for the financial year 2024-25 and immediately commission them for the public service.
DDC also highlighted the urgency of completing these projects to strengthen infrastructure.
While reviewing implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission in district, he stressing on ensuring the functionality of water supply schemes.
The review also focused on identifying bottlenecks and their removal for expeditious culmination of projects.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone, ACR, Shakoor Ahmad Dar, district officers and sectoral officers and other officials.
