Distt Admin B’la organizes farewell for SDM Uri, CEO

Baramulla : The District Administration Baramulla, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa, organized a farewell ceremony at Dak Bungalow Baramulla to bid adieu to Sub-Divisional Magistrate Uri, Javed Ahmad Rather, and Chief Education Officer, Shabir Ahmad Khan, on their transfer.
Jk Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Raina, Joint Director Planning, Javed Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Arshad Ahmad Khan and other senior officers and officials attended the farewell function.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Baramulla Minga Sherpa appreciated the dedicated services of Javed Ahmad Rather and Shabir Ahmad Khan, commending their professionalism and commitment to public service. He extended his best wishes for their future endeavors and expressed confidence that they would continue to excel in their new roles.
SDM Uri Javed Ahmad Rather, in his farewell address, expressed gratitude to the district administration for p unwavering support during his tenure. “Serving in Uri has been both challenging and rewarding. I am thankful to the administration, my colleagues, and the people of Uri for their cooperation. The experience I have gained here will always guide me in my future responsibilities,” he said.
Chief Education Officer Shabir Ahmad Khan also shared his reflections, emphasizing the collective efforts that strengthened the education sector in the district. “Ensuring quality education has been my top priority, and I deeply appreciate the support of the administration, teachers, and the community in achieving this goal. It has been a privilege to serve in Baramulla,” he remarked.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla on the occasion highlighted the contributions of the outgoing officers, noting their dedication to public service. “Both SDM Uri and CEO Baramulla have played pivotal roles in their respective domains. Their sincerity and hard work have left a lasting impact on the district. We wish them all the best in their future assignments,” he stated.
The officers and officials present at the event also shared their experiences, appreciated the leadership and dedication of both Javed Ahmad Rather and Shabir Ahmad Khan.
The farewell ceremony concluded with a token of appreciation being presented to the outgoing officers as a mark of gratitude for their valuable service to the district.
