Spl Lok- Adalat on Traffic challans, Electricity Bills to be held on February, 22 at Budgam

Budgam : As per the calendar of activities issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority, a special Lok Adalat focusing on the amicable settlement of “Traffic Challans and Electricity Bills” is scheduled to be held on February 22 in district Budgam.
To facilitate maximum settlement of traffic challans, a Pre-Lok Adalat session for Traffic Challans will commence from 5th February 2025 and continue till 21st February 2025.
All concerned advocates and parties wishing to settle their Traffic Challans through the said Lok Adalat have been asked to approach the concerned courts during this period for a mutually agreeable resolution.
The initiative aims to ensure an efficient and amicable settlement of pending cases. DLSA, Budgam has requested stakeholders to avail themselves of the opportunity.
In order to settle Traffic Challan Cases, DLSA has constituted three benches for taking up the cases.
Ist Bench, comprises of Chief Judicial Magistrate Budgam, Imran Hussain Wani and Munsiff Budgam, Tasneem Kawoosa. The bench will take up all the cases referred by Chief Judicial Magistrate Budgam and Munsiff Budgam in the court room of Chief Judicial Magistrate Budgam and the Reader of the same Court will assist the bench.
2nd Bench consists of Rabyia Snober Gulzar, Judicial Magistrate Ist Class/Munsiff, Magam and Shaista Wani Panel Lawyer. The bench will take up all the cases referred by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class/Munsiff, Magam in the court room of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class/Munsiff, Magam , and the Reader of the same Court will assist the bench.
3rd Bench consists of Tawfeel Ahmed Mir, Special Mobile Magistrate Beerwah and Adv.Bilal Ahmad Rather, Panel Lawyer. The bench will take up all the cases referred by Special Mobile Magistrate Beerwah in the court room of Special Mobile Magistrate Beerwah and the Reader of the same Court will assist the bench.
These benches will hold their sessions from 5th February 2025 to 21st February 2025, starting every day after 2:00 PM. This arrangement is made to resolve cases smoothly and give parties a chance to settle their disputes before the main Lok Adalat.
