Fifth Batch of Nurturing Future Leadership Prog ends at IIM Jammu

Jammu : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu concluded the fifth batch of Nurturing Future Leadership Program, under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Program, Ministry of Education, Govt of India, with a grand valedictory ceremony held at Bharat Classroom, Jagti Campus on 31 st Jan 2025.
The program, held from 27 th Jan to 31 st Jan 2025, aimed to equip educators with essential leadership skills. The valedictory ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu, Dr. Muqbil Burhan, Chairperson, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Skill Development, IIM Jammu, Dr. Ateeque Shaikh, Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu and Dr. Vedika Saxena, Program Director, IIM Jammu. During the valedictory ceremony, participants shared their
experiences and provided feedback on the five-day Nurturing Future Leadership Programme at IIM Jammu, offering valuable suggestions for future enhancements. Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu, emphasized that the program focuses on key takeaways for implementation rather than just teaching. He highlighted the continuous learning process, enriched by experts from across the country, and the need to strengthen the academic environment. He stressed that true impact comes when faculty and participants work in the same direction, fostering leadership and collaboration to enhance the academic ecosystem. He encouraged participants to foster collaboration, apply their leanings, and contribute to improving academia while embarking on a new journey of growth and innovation. Dr. Muqbil Burhan, Chairperson, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Skill Development, IIM Jammu, emphasized the need for collaboration, stating that progress comes from exploring opportunities together rather than working in silos. Dr. Vedika Saxena, Program Director, presented a summary of the five-day program, highlighting the focus on driving excellence and innovation in academics.
Dr. Ateeque Shaikh, Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu, expressed happiness and emphasized that this program marks the beginning of a lasting relationship. He encouraged participants, as key stakeholders, to stay connected with the Institute. This was followed by the distribution of certificates to all the participants, recognizing their successful
completion of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program. The certificates serve as a testament to their dedication and hard work throughout the program. Dr. Muqbil Burhan, Chairperson, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Skill Development, IIM Jammu, proposed the vote of thanks. The event
culminated with the national anthem, marking the end of a transformative journey for the participants. The Nurturing Future Leadership Program reaffirms IIM Jammu's commitment to developing future leaders in
education. Through such initiatives, the institute continues to empower educators with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a meaningful impact on society. The program was coordinated by Executive
Education and Consultancy, (EE & C), IIM Jammu.
