Srinagar : Continuing its drive against persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Police have seized 4 vehicles in Pampore area of Awantipora.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that a Police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO Police Station Pampore seized four vehicles (tippers) JK13-7651, JK01AV-6488, JK13B-2087 and JK03B-9066 involved in illegal transportation of mineral in Pampore.
Stating that the police has late accordingly registered a case vide FIR No. 11/2025 under relevant sections of law and investigations has been initiated.
In the concluding para of the above quoted statement police said that people found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt with as per law.
