Kathua Campus, JU organizes expert lecture on the topic “Entrepreneurship and Open Opportunities in the Market”

Kathua : The Management School, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu organized an expert lecture on the topic “Entrepreneurship and Open Opportunities in the Market”. The session was delivered by Mr. Daksh Singh Jamwal, a young entrepreneur and motivational speaker.
The lecture aimed to provide students with valuable insights into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship, emerging business opportunities, and strategies to navigate the evolving market landscape. Mr. Jamwal shared his experiences, shedding light on key entrepreneurial skills, innovation, risk management and the role of startups in economic growth and development. He emphasized the importance of adaptability and market research in identifying profitable business ventures. Mr. Jamwal encouraged young aspirants to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and leverage available resources to transform their ideas into successful business ventures.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who engaged in thought-provoking discussions and sought guidance on startup challenges and investment opportunities.
Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu in his message highlighted the role of entrepreneurship as a backbone of economic growth, driving innovation and job creation. He emphasized on entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business but also about thinking innovatively and adapting to change, in today’s competitive world. Such interactive session bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world business, preparing students to become future leaders.
The event was coordinated by Princee Verma and anchored by Dr. Surekha Phakwrya. Whereas, Dr. Ritu Sharma, faculty of MBA delivered vote of thanks.
The Management School, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu, remains committed to organizing such sessions to enhance students’ understanding of business scenarios and prepare them for future challenges in the corporate world. The event was part of the institution’s ongoing effort to equip students with practical knowledge and industry exposure. Faculty members appreciated the engaging discourse and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among students.
