DC B’pora chairs Vidyalaya Management Committee meeting

Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Manzoor Ahmad Qadri Wednesday chaired a meeting of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) and DLMC at the Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
The meeting discussed various measures for operationalization of the new building of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Bandipora including construction of a link road at JNV Madar and road construction at JNV Brar, alongside addressing various infrastructure issues that need urgent attention.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Medical Officer to arrange counselors to provide guidance to adolescent students ahead of their examinations aimed to offer emotional and psychological support to the students, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner M. A. Qadri instructed the concerned from Jal Shakti Department and Power Development Department (PDD), to facilitate water and electricity connections for the new JNV school building, once all required formalities are completed by the institution.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of ensuring quality education and the welfare of students in the district and reiterated the District Administration’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and facilities across the district.
The meeting was attended by ADC Zaffar Husson Shawl, Chief Education Officer Bandipora Kishore Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Rafi Ahmad Salathi, Assistant Director FCS&CA, Dr.Naseer Ahmad, Executive Engineer R&B Mohammad Hussain, Executive Engineer PDD, Principal JNV Bandipora (Member Secretary), Mohammad Parvaiz, Officers from PHE and other concerned.
