Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) marked the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and fervour at its Bari Brahmana campus Jammu. Director JKEDI, Rajinder Kumar Sharma unfurled the tricolour embodying the spirit of national pride and unity.
The event witnessed the presence of all staff members, Heads of different program verticals and faculty members. The staff posted at Sempora campus participated in the Republic Day function at Bakhshi Stadium, Srinagar, while the employees placed in district offices took part in the celebrations in their respective districts.
In his address, Director JKEDI extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the faculty, staff, trainees, interns and stakeholders of the institute. He reflected on the profound significance of the Republic Day. “Today commemorates the historic moment when the Constitution of India came into effect, transforming our nation into a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic. Today we pledge to renew our commitment to the values enshrined in our Constitution,” the Director said.
Highlighting the role of the Constitution as the cornerstone of democracy, Director JKEDI emphasized the responsibility of institutions like JKEDI in nation-building. He remarked that the principles of equality, liberty, fraternity and justice enshrined in the Constitution must guide us as a training institution committed to the pursuit of social and economic progress.
