DC reaffirms Distt Admin’s commitment to the comprehensive development of the region, its people

Bandipora: In an effort to bring governance and administrative services closer to the people and to address public grievances, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Wednesday presided over a Mega Public Outreach program at Arin, Bandipora.
The event witnessed participation of DDC Member Arin, Ghulam Mohiddin, Officers from various government departments, local representatives, and public from all walks of life, including youth and senior citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, DC emphasized that Block Diwas is an initiative designed to foster direct interaction between the administration and the public, offering a platform for citizens to voice their concerns and seek resolutions.
He assured the residents that their issues would be addressed promptly and efficiently, issuing immediate directions to resolve various matters. He urged the concerned officers to take swift action and ensure continuous follow-up on the cases.
The event offered residents an opportunity to engage directly with district officials, allowing them to raise concerns and seek resolutions. During the event, a diverse array of issues was discussed, spanning critical sectors such as education, infrastructure, healthcare, water supply, and electricity.
Addressing the gathering, Qadri reaffirmed the District Administration’s commitment to the comprehensive development of the region and its people. He emphasized that as societal and community needs continue to evolve, the government remains dedicated to adapting and tackling emerging challenges efficiently.
Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Development Bandipora spoke extensively about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), emphasizing its significant benefits and the profound impact it has on addressing homelessness.
Among others, CPO, CMO, CEO, CAO, ALC, ExEn R&B, ExEn PMGSY, ExEn Jal Shakti, AD FCS&CA, Tehsildar, BDOs, LDM and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
