Housing for all cherished mission of PM Modi: DDC Vice-Chairperson Udhampur

Udhampur: Vice Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Udhampur Juhi Manhas Pathania on Monday met several public delegates from across the District.
The delegations from Roun Mansar, Khoon, Patwar, Palnoo met the Vice Chairperson at her office in the DC Office Complex. During the series of interactions with the delegations, she emphasized the importance of the PMAY initiative.
Highlighting the core mission of PMAY, Juhi Pathania said “Our priority is to identify and register every deserving beneficiary, ensuring no one is left behind. This initiative showcases the centre government’s clear intentions, strong determination, and dedication to ensuring that the benefits of PMAY reach 100% eligible population, in line with the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.’”
She urged the survey teams to meticulously follow the scheme’s guidelines, ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is excluded from the program. Stressing the importance of inter-departmental cooperation, Pathania emphasized the need for seamless implementation and accurate data collection to optimize the scheme’s impact.
During her field visit, the Vice Chairperson actively engaged with the public, listened to their concerns, and assured them of timely redressal of grievances. She directed accompanying officers to expedite the completion of developmental projects and prioritize initiatives aimed at uplifting rural communities. The Vice-Chairperson directed the Jal Shakti Department to execute all water supply schemes sanctioned under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the prescribed time to meet the requirement of the potable water supply of the area. She also directed the other line departments to pace up the progress of ongoing developmental works in the area.
Reiterating her commitment to the PMAY mission, Pathania stated, “This scheme is not merely about housing but about providing dignity, security, and a better quality of life to the underserved. We are steadfast in our efforts to ensure that every family has access to a safe and secure home.”
