Hakeem condoles demise of 5 time former MLA B’gam , Former Minister Gh Hassan Geelani

Srinagar/Jan, 20- : President Jammu and kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Ghulam Hassan Geelani, the former minister and five-time Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Budgam.
In a condolence message Hakeem Yaseen while expressing deep sorrow over demise of Geelani , said that he was a prominent political figure in Jammu and Kashmir, recognized for his selfless service to the people of his region. His long political career saw him play key roles in various capacities, and he was a staunch advocate for his constituents. ” Throughout his life, he remained committed to addressing the issues faced by the people of Budgam and the larger region,” Hakeem Yaseen said adding that his death marks the end of an era in local politics, leaving a void in the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. He said Geelani’s contributions to the region’s socio- political emancipation in will be remembered for long.
