Mega Swamitva Event held in Rajouri: Over 1000 Property Cards distributed across 48 Panchayats

Rajouri : A Mega Swamitva event was held on Saturday in the Conference Hall of PWD Dakbanglow, Rajouri, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma.
The event was aligned with the nationwide initiative under the SVAMITVA scheme, showcasing a live telecast of the Prime Minister of India distributing property cards among beneficiaries and interacting with them from Seoni, Madhya Prade
In a significant move to empower rural communities, the DC, in presence of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, distributed property cards among beneficiaries at Government Degree College, Budhal.
This initiative aims to provide ownership rights, enhance rural development, and bolster economic progress in the district.
Officers from various departments educated participants about government schemes and programmes being implemented in the district, encouraging them to avail the benefits.
More than 1000 property cards were distributed across 48 Panchayats of Rajouri district as part of similar programmes conducted simultaneously.
The event also highlighted the district administration’s commitment to social issues, as participants took pledges on drug de-addiction and Swachhta (cleanliness), reinforcing the values of a healthy and clean society.
The SVAMITVA initiative continues to empower rural India by formalizing property ownership, fostering community development, and enabling beneficiaries to access a range of benefits.
