Jammu : Member Legislative Assembly Gulabgarh visited areas in Block Chassana, including Sarsote, Malokote, Shergari, Baggan, Singlikote, Laber, and Tundagarh, where he held interactive sessions with the public and inspected various developmental initiatives.
During the visit to Sarsote, Er Khurshied Ahmed personally inspected the progress of work on the Sarsote Bridge.
The MLA expressed satisfaction over the pace of the work. However he emphasised the importance of adhering to timelines and maintaining quality standards. He assured residents that the project remains a top priority and will be completed at the earliest to ease transportation challenges faced by the local population.
Another significant milestone achieved during the visit was the official launch of the survey for the road connecting Sarsote to Sheri. The new road project is expected to transform the accessibility of remote villages, providing better connectivity to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.
The MLA highlighted the government’s commitment to addressing the infrastructural gaps in rural areas and ensuring equitable development across the constituency.
Er. Khurshied Ahmed also conducted multiple public meetings across the villages, where residents voiced their demands for improving road conditions, provision of healthcare facilities and the need for better educational infrastructure.
The MLA patiently listened to their grievances and gave assurances of swift action, reiterating his commitment to ensuring that development reaches every corner of Gulabgarh. He stressed that all pending issues will be resolved systematically and with the people’s welfare as the primary focus.
