DC Kishtwar reviews progress achieved under District Capex Plan 2024-25

Kishtwar : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan on Thursday chaired a review meeting to assess sector wise physical and financial status of projects taken under the District Capex Plan 2024-25.
The meeting was held in the VC Room to provide insights into various sectors such as R&B, Jal Sakhti, Education, Health, and Youth Sports etc.
The DC Kishtwar emphasized the critical need for timely project completion to ensure efficient fund utilization and overall district development.
Concerned executing officers were directed to expedite ongoing projects while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and quality standards.
CPO Kishtwar apprised that majority of works taken up under the District Capex 2024-25 have been completed, with the remaining projects currently in progress.
Furthermore, it was highlighted that the financial progress under District Capex corresponds with the physical targets achieved so far, without any hindrances.
In the meeting, the chair also underscored the significance of close monitoring and coordination among departments to overcome bottlenecks and ensure seamless project progress.
The DC also instructed officers to provide regular updates and promptly resolve any issues to avoid delays, highlighting the need for efficient execution to benefit the district’s residents.
The meeting was attended by CPO Shahnawaz Bali; ACD Phulail Singh; EO Municipality Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal; CEO Javed Ahmed Kitchloo, AD Planning RDD, BDOs, ExEn PWD R&B and staff from concerned departments.
