Srinagar : National Conference legislator Salman Sagar Wednesday emphasized that any proposed satellite township in Jammu and Kashmir will feature housing exclusively for the residents of the region.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday Sagar reassured locals that their rights and interests will remain protected. Salman Sagar reiterated the National Conference’s alignment with the INDIA bloc, distancing the party from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He further criticized detractors of NC leader Omar Abdullah, asserting that only those who previously aligned with the BJP are now voicing such criticisms. “The National Conference is committed to safeguarding the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We will ensure that any development, including the satellite township, benefits the local populace,” Sagar said.
