Jammu: Police in Jammu on Tuesday said that in a swift and efficient action, the Arnia Police team of Subdivision RS Pura has successfully solved cases involving vehicle theft and stolen cash garland, ensuring justice for the victims.
In a statement issued from the District Police Office, Jammu Police said that two written complaints were received — one reporting a stolen motorcycle parked outside a house and another regarding the theft of a cash garland. Stating that while acting promptly on these complaints, a case under FIR Nos. 77/2024, 1/2025, and 2/2025 was registered, and investigations were immediately initiated.
Police in its statement further said that a special police team, led by SHO Arnia under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu, worked diligently by utilizing intelligence inputs, local sources, and CCTV footage to identify the accused.
Stating that the team successfully recovered the stolen motorcycle and the cash garland, demonstrating their commitment to quick and effective crime resolution, Police in its statement further said that this recovery highlights the professional efforts of Jammu Police in maintaining law and order and restoring public trust, adding therein that further investigation into the case is underway.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement Police reiterated its commitment to crack down on criminal activities for a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
