Srinagar : Stating that the opposition parties should do constructive opposition, Advisor to chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani on Tuesday said that the apt time for the restoration has arrived and it should be restored at earliest.
Talking to the reporters here, Wani said that the parties in the opposition should do constructive opposition and must not spread negativity. “The opposition should think beyond the vested interests,” he said, adding that one of the opposition parties has been responsible for the current mess in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that it is because of the opposition party that J&K is presently facing such a situation. “Had they worked positively, the situation would have been different,” he said.
Replying to a query, Wani said that one should appreciate the way the Chief Minister put forth every issue before the Prime Minister. “PM has rightly said that there is an apt time for everything. We believe the right time has come and the restoration of statehood must be ensured now,” he added.
“The PM has assured that he fulfills all his promises and we are hopeful that statehood will be restored at earliest,” CM’s Advisor stated.
About Member of Parliament from Srinagar, Aga Ruhullah giving a miss to the Sonamarg tunnel inauguration yesterday, he said the parliamentarian has already clarified that he was in Kochi to attend a function.
Also, the Advisor to CM said that the cultural sector is significant while the cultural academy and artists play a huge role in this regard. “The activities started after we took over. The local artists need to be provided a platform so that they can achieve their name at national level,” he said
