J&K Govt Redesignates IAS Officers Sarmad Hafeez, Aijaz Assad

Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Government has redesignated IAS officers Sarmad Hafeez and Mohammad Aijaz Assad following their promotions to higher pay scales.
According to an order issued by the Jammu & Kashmir Government Sarmad Hafeez has been designated as Commissioner Secretary, Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Department while Mohammad Aijaz Assad has been appointed as Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department. The redesignation follows their elevation to Super Time Scale (Level 14 in the pay matrix) and Selection Grade (Level 13 in the pay matrix), respectively. Sarmad Hafeez has previously held key positions in the administration, including roles in tourism and youth affairs. Mohammad Aijaz Assad has served in various capacities, contributing to governance and rural development.
