IIM Jammu Concludes Second Module of Life Insurance Professional Prog for PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Ltd. on a Grand Note

Janmu: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu), under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, successfully concluded the Second Module of the Life Insurance Professional Program (Management Development Programme) for PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Limited. The valedictory ceremony, held on 12th January 2024 at the Kautilya Block of IIM Jammu’s permanent campus
in Jagti, marked the culmination of a transformative journey designed to enhance managerial expertise among life insurance professionals.
The event was graced by Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu; Dr. Ateeque Shaikh, Program Director and Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu; Dr. Baljeet Singh, Program
Director, IIM Jammu; Rajesh Verma, Senior Regional Head, Jammu and Kashmir, PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd.; Amit Sharma, Regional Training Manager, PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd. And other officials of both the organizations. Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu, emphasized the value of industry engagement on campus and highlighted the valedictory as a starting point for transformative journeys. He encouraged participants to reflect on key takeaways, implement insights for organizational growth, and reconstruct their professional paths. He also thanked the program directors and faculty for co-creating a rich learning experience. Rajesh Verma, Senior Regional Head, Jammu and Kashmir, PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd., emphasized the importance of implementing the learnings gained. He acknowledged the achievement of the 32 handpicked participants who stood out among many and expressed gratitude to everyone for their good performances. He also appreciated the efforts of the core team driving the BRV initiative forward.

The ceremony concluded with certificate distribution, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ateeque Shaikh, Program Director and Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu.
