Workshop on Mission YUVA- UDYAM JAGRITI 2.0 (Baseline Survey-IEC) held at Srinagar

Srinagar: In order to ensure the effective implementation of Baseline Survey for assessing the socio-economic aspirations and challenges of youth in District, a Workshop cum interaction session under Mission YUVA-UDYAM JAGRITI 2.0 (Baseline Survey-IEC) was on Tuesday held at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex Srinagar
The Workshop was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
Addressing the workshop, DC highlighted the critical importance of UDYAM JAGRITI 2.0 in identifying the ground realities and paving the way for effective policymaking under Mission YUVA.
The DC reaffirmed the commitment to the goals of Mission YUVA and underscored the need of collective responsibility to uplift the youth of the District through targeted and impactful interventions.
Dr Bilal urged all Departments and stakeholders to work collaboratively to ensure the timely and successful completion of the survey. He said District Administration Srinagar is committed to empower the youth through innovative and data-driven interventions.
He stressed the need for meticulous data collection, as the insights gathered from this baseline survey will play a pivotal role in tailoring self-employment schemes and youth-centric progra He also encouraged Officers to engage actively with field teams and provide the necessary support to ensure the survey’s efficiency and accuracy.
During the programme, the challenges faced by supervisors and enumerators were also discussed in detail, and directions were issued to address these issues promptly.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Syed Ahmad Kataria; Chief Planning Officer, Deputy Director Employment, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer, besides District Employment Officer, District Career Counseling Officer, other Officers and stakeholders were present on the occasion.
