Srinagar: Police on Tuesday said that it has attached an immovable property (4 Marlas of land) situated at Syedabad Pastoona Tral worth lakhs belonging to a militant handler based in Pakistan namely Mubashir Ahmad S/o Ghulam Nabi Dar R/o Syedabad Pastuna Tral, Awantipora, adding therein that action was taken under sections 25 of UAPA Act.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the property was identified belonging to a militant handler during the course of investigation conducted by Awantipora Police.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement Police said that the Pak based militant handler Mubashir Ahmad is involved in promoting and reviving militant activities by pushing in arms & ammunition for activating local militant networks, adding therein that the operation reaffirms the commitment of J&K Police to combat the militancy related activities.
